Seedlings    Ages 5-6

Seedlings need tons of space to run wild as their imaginations soar.  Based at the main farmyard, we take care of animals in the shade, get drenched during water play, eagerly dig for treasures and more!

We also go on adventures to the creek and picnic in the shady forest. We follow the weekly themes with age-appropriate learning and crafting with natural materials.

Gnomes & Fairies Week: June 16-20

Did you know that gnomes and fairies live in our enchanted forest? See where and learn their clever ways!  Make wooden gnome doors and see if they come at your house!  Make  fairy wands to help our magical friends in the forest.  Expect your child's imagination to be awakened as we enjoy crafts, songs, games, and stories of these special little friends.

Gem Mining & Pioneering Skills Week!   June 23 - 27

The gem mining sluice will be working overtime this week!  Smooth river rocks, pebbles, clay and sand of every strata are just waiting in the creek for collection and sorting!  Panning for gold and gemstones is fascinating work and tons of fun.  We learn pioneering skills, make soap, candles, and other hands-on projects. Cooking on an open-fire also brings joy and a sense of accomplishment during this action-packed week!

Bunnies Week!   June 30 - July 4   (Yes, 4th of July too)

Little fluffy bunnies - need we say more?  Our domestic lion-head bunnies are adorable and calm so campers can hold, care for, and learn all about them. Bunnies are sweet and always grateful for a blade of grass to nibble on (think "eating a spaghetti noodle one bite at a time")  Ginger, and Muckley, the Kune Kune pigs, will be the stars of the show this week - more like a dog than a pig.  A good tummy scratch and they are in heaven.  Crafts, games, and other fun activities will have your little one hoppin' this week!

Chickens & Feathered Friends Week!     July 7 - 11

We can't enough of our sweet chickens this week as we feed, care for, gentle handle, and collect eggs.  Our turkey, Tomalina, and ducks are stars of the show as well.  We have a guest speaker coming at the end of the week to show off unique birds found in the wild.   We have multiple coops throughout the farm so your child will visit all the ages: chicks, poulets and laying hens.  Chicken-themed art, games, music about with our feathered friends!

Reptiles & Critters Week!     July 14 - 18

Pond and creek exploration leads the way as we discover many reptiles and critters hiding all around us.  We safely and gently observe reptiles and insects throughout the week.  A wonderful guest expert will bring a plethora of reptiles, spiders, and creatures for a highly educational presentation this week!  Your child will see and may handle many types of non-venomous reptiles up close and personal!  Ssssssoooo much fun!

Donkeys & Llama Week!   Aug 4 - Aug 8

Our donkeys and llama are minature so not TOO big yet packed with personality.  "Laverne and Shirley" are incredibly sweet and good natured.  We groom, feed, and take them for walks in the woods.  Little Red Dude is very curious and enjoys the attention as we say tuned with his friendly "banana ears."  Donkey and llama-themed crafts, songs, and games add to this week's fun!  EEEE-AAAWWWH!
