Summer Camp Counselors - 2026
Calling all warm-hearted, fun-loving, enthusiastic, hard-working summer camp counselors!
At Sun Star Farm we run an exceptional program that nurtures children’s innate love of nature and animals and inspires creativity and exploration. We work on a beautiful 12-acre farm with the sweetest animals and children you’ll ever meet.
This opportunity is ideal for college students, future or current educators, and nurses! We offer a competitive wage and unforgettable experiences working with children and animals.
During our summer day camp we serve children ages 3-12 with a nature and play-based curriculum. We go outdoors in all weather and care for and play with our farm animals everyday while engaging the children in a unique theme for the week. Your enthusiasm, decision-making, and pro-active effort will help create a positive camp experience and nurture and protect the physical and emotional well-being of campers.
Age Requirements

Counselors are required to be minimum age 16, although most of our staff is age 18+ and experienced in childcare.

Ages 13-15 are eligible to be a Counselor-In-Leadership-Training (CILT)
Time Commitment

Counselors must be able to attend mandatory 4-hour Training on either Saturday 6/7 or 6/14 prior to camp (10am-2pm).

For new 16yo counselors, you must be available to work a minimum of 3 weeks

For all other counselors, you must be available to work a minimum of 6 weeks
